Superyacht Guide Service Badges identify selected business profiles using editorial and directory indicators rather than star ratings.
Service Badges are part of the Superyacht Guide Awards and recognition system.
Unlike Yacht Stars, Marina Stars and Destination Stars, service providers are not currently given star ratings. Instead, Superyacht Guide uses badges to identify selected business profiles, directory status and areas of recognised relevance.
Service companies, suppliers, brokers, designers, shipyards and managers operate in different sectors and cannot always be compared fairly using one simple star score. Badges allow clearer recognition without implying a ranked review score.
Badges may include Verified Business, Featured Business, SYG Recommended, Specialist Service Provider, Custom Yacht Builder, Refit Specialist, Marina Operator, Yacht Broker, Charter Specialist or Design Studio.
Service Badges are editorial and directory indicators. They are not official certification, safety approval, financial endorsement, legal recommendation or proof of regulatory status.
Paid listings, advertising and featured placements do not automatically create a badge. Superyacht Guide may review, update or remove badges as information changes.
Businesses may request factual corrections or claim a profile through the business claim process.
