The Superyacht Guide Awards are an editorial recognition system created for the Superyacht Guide directory.
The awards are designed to help readers identify notable yachts, marinas, destinations and selected industry contributors with recognised design, engineering, operational, destination, historical or service value.
Yacht Stars recognise selected yachts using a one-to-five star editorial rating system. Yacht Stars may consider design, construction, engineering, innovation, guest experience, operational management, environmental consideration and historical or market significance.
Marina Stars recognise marinas and ports using a one-to-five star editorial rating system. Marina Stars may consider superyacht berthing, access, facilities, services, security, crew facilities, guest experience, technical support, location value and environmental standards.
Destination Stars recognise selected superyacht cruising destinations. Destination Stars may consider cruising appeal, marina access, luxury hospitality, airport access, charter popularity, scenery, anchorages, seasonality, events, culture and service infrastructure.
Service Badges recognise selected company and service provider profiles using badges rather than star ratings. Badges may include Verified Business, Featured Business, SYG Recommended, Specialist Service Provider, Custom Yacht Builder, Refit Specialist, Marina Operator, Yacht Broker, Charter Specialist or Design Studio.
Superyacht Guide Awards are editorial ratings and directory indicators. They are not official certification, class approval, flag-state approval, safety inspection, environmental certification, proof of seaworthiness, valuation, financial advice, legal advice or a guarantee of availability.
Paid listings, advertising and featured directory placement cannot buy a Superyacht Guide Award rating. Ratings and badges may be reviewed, updated or removed as information changes.
