Anguilla is a refined Caribbean beach destination with white sand, luxury resorts, beach restaurants and Leeward Islands cruising appeal.
Anguilla is one of the Caribbean’s most refined beach destinations, known for white sand, clear water, luxury resorts, villas, beach restaurants and a quieter atmosphere than nearby St Barths or St Maarten. It is a strong stop for yachts cruising the northern Leeward Islands.
Popular areas include Road Bay, Sandy Ground, Shoal Bay, Meads Bay and offshore cays such as Sandy Island and Prickly Pear. The island is especially attractive for guests who want beaches, fine dining, privacy and low-key luxury rather than large marina infrastructure or nightlife.
Anguilla is usually combined with St Maarten and St Barths in winter charter itineraries. It works best as a tender and anchorage destination with careful local planning for customs, access and weather.
