Marseille is a historic Mediterranean port city with Provençal culture, marina access, airport links and cruising routes to the Calanques.
Marseille is one of the Mediterranean’s great historic port cities, offering a different character from the polished Riviera resorts. It combines maritime heritage, Provençal culture, the Old Port, restaurants, museums, airport access and proximity to the Calanques National Park.
For yachts, Marseille can serve as a city call, provisioning point, charter embarkation location or gateway to southern France cruising. The nearby Calanques, with limestone cliffs and clear coves, add a scenic natural dimension to the city’s urban energy.
The destination is more authentic and working-port in feel than Monaco or Saint-Tropez. It appeals to guests who want culture, food, history, landscapes and access to Provence rather than pure beach-club glamour.
