Palma de Mallorca is one of the most important superyacht hubs in the Mediterranean, combining major marina infrastructure, shipyards, refit services, crew support, culture, restaurants, airport access and year-round yacht activity. It is both a destination and a major operational base.
The city sits at the heart of Mallorca’s yachting scene. Facilities such as Marina Port de Mallorca, STP Shipyard, Club de Mar, Moll Vell and other local marinas support private yachts, charter yachts, refit periods and winter programmes. Moll Vell is particularly central, located close to Palma’s old town and cathedral.
For guests, Palma offers a strong mix of city culture and island cruising. The cathedral, old town, restaurants, galleries, hotels and nearby anchorages make it attractive before or after cruising around Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca or the wider Balearics.
Palma is active all year, with the summer season focused on cruising and the winter/shoulder seasons supporting refit, maintenance and crew activity. It is one of the Mediterranean’s most complete yacht service destinations.
