Paraty is a Brazilian coastal yacht destination with colonial charm, Costa Verde islands, beaches and strong cultural appeal.
Paraty is one of Brazil’s most atmospheric coastal destinations, combining a beautifully preserved colonial town with island cruising, green mountains, beaches and Costa Verde scenery.
For yachts, Paraty works well as part of a Rio to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande itinerary. The town offers culture, restaurants, art, cobbled streets and access to numerous islands and anchorages.
The destination is best suited to yachts seeking a blend of heritage and nature rather than large-scale marina glamour. Local tidal, anchorage and tender planning are important.
