Destination Stars are editorial ratings based on cruising appeal, marina access, hospitality, scenery, events, seasonality and available information.
The Grenadines are one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful island-hopping regions, with Bequia, Mustique, Canouan and the Tobago Cays.
The Grenadines are among the most beautiful island-hopping regions in the Caribbean, offering clear water, quiet anchorages, beaches, coral reefs, private-island resorts and a relaxed cruising atmosphere. The region stretches through islands and cays associated with St Vincent and Grenada, including Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union Island and the Tobago Cays.
For yachts, the Grenadines are less about large marina hubs and more about anchorages, tenders, beaches, snorkeling, private-island hospitality and short scenic passages. The Tobago Cays are especially prized for their turquoise water and marine life.
The destination is well suited to guests seeking a more natural and romantic Caribbean itinerary. It is also ideal for sailing yachts and motor yachts looking for a quieter alternative to the busier Leeward Islands.
