The United States Virgin Islands are an important Caribbean yacht destination and gateway, combining St Thomas, St John and St Croix with marina facilities, beaches, national park scenery, shopping, airport access and onward cruising to the British Virgin Islands and wider Leeward Islands.
St Thomas is especially important for yacht logistics because of Charlotte Amalie Harbour, Yacht Haven Grande and air access. St John offers a more natural cruising experience, with protected landscapes, beaches and anchorages. St Croix adds a larger-island dimension with history, diving and cultural interest.
