Aquarius

Aquarius is a 92-metre custom motor yacht built by Feadship and delivered in 2016. She is one of the most refined large yachts produced by the Dutch yard in the mid-2010s, combining Feadship engineering, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design styling and a calm, elegant approach to luxury yacht design.

The yacht was built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and has a gross tonnage of approximately 2,856 GT. Her proportions are balanced and restrained, with a clean white exterior, broad decks, large windows and a formal profile that reflects Feadship’s reputation for precision, quality and understated Dutch yacht building.

Aquarius was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, which is credited with both the exterior and interior design. Public sources also refer to Wynn Design as involved with the interior design work, reflecting the yacht’s connection with her commissioning owner. The result is a yacht known for refined detailing, generous volume, formal guest spaces and a luxurious but controlled visual character.

The yacht is arranged across five decks and is reported to accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 staterooms, supported by a crew of around 31. Her accommodation layout is associated with a large owner’s suite and a series of guest cabins designed for high-level private cruising and charter-style hospitality.

Aquarius includes a broad range of lifestyle and wellness features. Publicly reported amenities include a helipad, beach club, swimming pool or deck pool, spa, beauty salon, massage room, gym, elevator, underwater lights, swimming platform and tender garage. These facilities place her firmly among the large modern yachts designed for extended private use, entertaining and relaxed cruising.

Technically, Aquarius is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M63L diesel engines. She is reported to reach a top speed of around 17 knots, with a cruising speed of approximately 12 knots and a range of about 5,500 nautical miles at cruising speed. This gives her the long-range capability expected of a large displacement Feadship while maintaining comfort, quietness and efficiency.

Aquarius has also been publicly associated with the brokerage and charter market, having been listed for sale in 2019 and later appearing in charter-related material. Her combination of Feadship pedigree, Sinot design, large guest areas and comprehensive amenities makes her a notable example of a modern 90-metre-plus Dutch superyacht.

As a yacht, Aquarius is significant for her balance of scale, quality, privacy and amenity. She is not the largest Feadship, but she is a highly polished example of the yard’s custom yacht capability and remains one of the more recognisable yachts in the 90-metre category.
