Cantiere delle Marche launches Darwin 107′ 16.07.2015 Cantiere delle Marche launches Darwin 107′ Cantiere delle Marche has launched its biggest-ever yacht, the rugged 33-metre explorer Darwin 107', for an owner who intends to be at sea for four months of the year. Built for an experienced shipowner, the steel-and-aluminium yacht – part of the yard’s Darwin range – was launched yesterday at Cantiere delle Marche’s Ancona yard. The owner, who will spend more than 120 days a year on board with his family, has customised Darwin 107′ for long-range cruising. The crew quarters, for example, have been furnished in the same style as the VIP areas. PFA Design has created an interior that predominantly uses walnut with panelled walls in either fabric or leather for what the yard calls “a classic maritime mood”. The main deck salon connects to the dining area and galley for use by the owners – all of which benefit from large windows. An interesting feature of the upper deck is the traditional radio room adjacent to the bridge.
