The 21st edition of the World Superyacht Awards , organised by BOAT International to celebrate excellence in the world of yachting, has drawn to a close. The winner of the “Displacement Motor Yachts – 500GT to 1,499GT” category is Lady Estey , part of the B.Now 67M family with Oasis Deck®, awarded by the jury for her “nicely done interior, high quality and overall excellent execution” – a superyacht which embodies the essence of Benetti’s tailor made culture and expresses the Shipyard’s design and manufacturing excellence, interpreting the owner’s personal vision and bringing it to life. Designed by RWD , the exterior lines achieve a precise architectural balance, in which elegance and proportion give shape to a silhouette with timeless appeal, poised between classical and contemporary. Signature features of the yacht are the folding side wings on the Oasis Deck® that swing out to create a 190-square-metre aft beach area at the water’s edge. The interplay between the spaces is accentuated by a careful selection of materials featuring oak floorboards in the lounge, which echo the colour tones and proportions of the teak on the outdoor decks and create smooth continuity between indoors and outdoors. The visual connection with the surrounding environment is accentuated by the transparency of the exterior glass parapets, which are pointed up by oval handrails made from stainless steel. The owner’s strong personality, sense of privacy and passion for art are immediately apparent when stepping on board. The interiors, curated by Sinot Architecture & Design , capture this essence in every detail. “Gatsby style”, the owner’s source of inspiration, is revisited through a contemporary lens. Large full-height windows become natural picture frames that capture the landscape and flood the yacht with light. The interiors are a refined narrative that unfolds in a skilful blend of fine woods – sycamore, ebony, wenge, ziricote and macassar – paired with selected marbles. Every element, from the specially designed crystal chandeliers to the central sculptural staircase in Bianco Lasa Marble, celebrates art through masterful craftsmanship. Even the corridor leading to the cabins is wider than usual, transforming a simple passageway into a gallery featuring illuminated recesses designed to showcase precious artworks. In every setting, a thin steel line band has an elegant framing effect, outlining the ceilings, decorating the doors, punctuating the floors and enhancing the bespoke furnishings.
