Vincenzo Poerio, have decided to further strengthen the structure of the Megayachts Business Line Benetti, by appointing Mr. Christos Ramnialis as General Manager of this important division. Born in Greece, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Darmstadt in Germany, Mr. Ramnialis has spent almost thirty years holding positions of increasing responsibility. Throughout his career he has demonstrated the ability to work successfully in different environments and cultures, designing and leading global strategies. Ramnialis has extensive experience in the Yacht business and has, for more than a decade, been a partner of Benetti in his role as Head of the Global Sales and Service Group of MTU / Rolls Royce Power Systems where he served for 16 years. We are confident that the appointment of Mr. Ramnialis will enhance Benetti’s competitive position and leadership, in all existing and new markets, and will contribute to further expansion into the promising giga yacht segment. Under the direction of Mr. Poerio, Benetti will continue to grow and enhance its product range and further lead the industry in the exploration of innovative technologies and strategic partnerships.
