Fraser's upbringing was truly diverse. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, he spent his early years before the family embarked on a move to Aix-en-Provence in the South of France. Later, they established roots in Phuket, Thailand, fostering Fraser's deep connection with the ocean. His sailing journey began at the age of eight, and he was frequently found on the water with his twin brother after school or actively participating in regattas during holidays. Commencing his maritime career over 15 years ago, Fraser swiftly recognized his true calling. Dedication to acquiring the necessary qualifications led him to assume command in 2015.
Throughout his career, Fraser navigated the waters of the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Caribbean. Notably, in 2017, he captained the 55m "Gene Machine" to the highest latitude ever reached by a private yacht during an exploration of Svalbard and its surrounding islands. As an accomplished Captain, Fraser revels in exploring lesser-known yachting destinations worldwide, while also demonstrating adeptness in navigating the renowned hotspots of the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
