Dynamic teamwork lies at the heart of this already-highly-productive co-creation between the owner and his team, naval architects Frers Design, interior designers Wetzels Brown and the shipyard’s inhouse engineering team, including expert co-makers.

Remarkable not only for scale and style, but for her green heart, because the New World Sloop will be the most environmentally focused megayacht ever built.

Construction work on Project 410 will start before summer this year, as scheduled. Logistical and preparatory planning for the build of the 85m / 280ft hull has included lengthening both construction Hall 2 and the Advanced Carbon Composites Hall at the shipyard’s newbuild headquarters in Vollenhove. Additional offices have been built to accommodate the engineering and production team and the owner’s representatives.

Royal Huisman’s continuous, long term commitment to investment in infrastructure – from modest beginnings in 1884 – has been fully focused for the past five decades on analyzing the trends in scale and technology of superyacht and megayacht concepts. The aim remains the same – to optimize its capacity and readiness to meet whatever challenges tomorrow’s revolutionary projects might ask of them.
