Ocean pollution is a growing global concern, one that we at Damen Yachting take very seriously and proactively fight. Our #LOVEOUROCEANS campaign has evolved into a growing platform, showcasing many of our industry’s initiatives to stop the deterioration of Earth.
One such story is about the London to Monaco bike ride, where our team is raising money to support the ocean conservation efforts of the Blue Marine Foundation. This year, Giovanni Berati, Romke van der Linde, Raoul Slinger, Jacco van Luijk, Bibi Tattje, Peter Dijkwel, Richard Wagenaar and Michel Coens will cycle over 1,000 kilometers from Vlissingen, the Netherlands, to Monaco over the course of ten days. The team will spend countless hours training and preparing themselves to reach the finish line, all in support of our greatest inspiration: Respecting our Oceans.
