Data Confidence & Provenance Intelligence

Understand what Superyacht Guide knows, what the evidence supports, what is reported, what is estimated and where evidence remains limited.

There is no single yacht “accuracy score”. Confidence belongs to individual facts and data categories. The same yacht can have a source-backed identity, strong technical records, an estimated valuation, low-confidence ownership reporting and verified documentary operating-cost evidence at the same time.

How confidence is classified

VERIFIED

Strong documentary or primary evidence, used only where the evidence type supports that description.

SOURCE-BACKED

Attributable evidence supports the record, without implying every individual field has been independently verified.

REPORTED / ESTIMATED

Publicly reported information or an editorial, market or modelled estimate rather than a verified legal or transaction fact.

LIMITED / CONFLICTING / UNKNOWN

Evidence is sparse, uncertain, disputed, conflicting or not currently sufficient.

Provenance profile

Feadship Project 826

Feadship · 80.00 m
1 record-level source
Existing record verification: Source-backed · High
This existing record-level assessment is separate from the dimensional analysis below.

Identity

SOURCE-BACKED

The yacht record has attributable source evidence supporting its public profile.

Evidence: Includes high-confidence source evidence
Records: 1

Record-level sources may support several profile fields. A source count does not mean every individual field has been independently verified.

Technical data

SOURCE-BACKED

2 major technical data areas are populated and the yacht has attributable record-level sources.

Evidence: Includes high-confidence source evidence
Records: 1

Technical confidence is conservative because existing YachtSource records are often record-level rather than mapped one-to-one to every technical field.

Build / project status

SOURCE-BACKED

The 80-metre Feadship project was launched in April 2026 before entering its final completion programme.

Evidence: Includes high-confidence source evidence
Records: 1
Relevant date: 15 April 2026

Latest project update is 31–180 days old.

Valuation

UNKNOWN

No public structured valuation is recorded.

Estimated values, asking prices, transaction values and insured values are different evidence classes and must not be treated as equivalent.

Operating cost

UNKNOWN

No public documentary cost record or stored running-cost estimate is available.

Ownership

UNKNOWN

No source-backed structured ownership or association record is published.

Market status

UNKNOWN

No live Superyacht Guide brokerage or charter listing is attached to this yacht.

Absence of a listing does not prove that the yacht is unavailable for sale or charter.

Recorded yacht sources

These are record-level provenance sources. Their presence does not mean each source independently verifies every field.

Important: More sources do not automatically mean a fact is more accurate. One authoritative primary document can be stronger than many derivative articles. Source count, source quality, recency, conflicts and whether a figure is reported, estimated or documented must all be considered together.
