I LOVE THIS BOAT is a 44.2-metre Christensen 145 motor yacht delivered in 2002 and refitted through 2023. The official Northrop & Johnson sales specification records a 40.0-metre load waterline, 8.36-metre beam, 2.06-metre minimum draft, 2.26-metre maximum draft and gross tonnage of 415 GT. The yacht is currently located in Fort Lauderdale, United States.
Northrop & Johnson lists accommodation for 10 guests in five staterooms, including an owner's suite forward on the main deck with a private office, king-size bed and two walk-in wardrobes. Four further guest cabins are positioned on the lower deck, comprising two queens and two twins, and the sales specification lists six guest heads.
The structured crew specification records seven crew berths in five crew cabins and one crew mess. Northrop & Johnson's detailed crew-area description separately states that the physical arrangement can accommodate up to eight crew, including the double berth in the captain's cabin; Superyacht Guide therefore uses the explicit specification-table value of seven for the structured crew field while retaining the eight-person arrangement as source context.
The yacht carries approximately 45,420 litres of fuel and 7,570 litres of fresh water, with the Northrop & Johnson specification also reporting a 43,527-litre holding tank. The source lists displacement as 251 without identifying a unit, so that figure is retained here as source information rather than being forced into a unit-specific database field.
Quoted performance is 10 knots cruising and 15 knots maximum speed, with an approximate range of 4,500 nautical miles. The semi-displacement hull is fibreglass, with exterior design credited to Christensen and interior design credited to Paola D. Smith & Associates.
The main salon incorporates Crestron-controlled audiovisual systems and Lutron lighting and connects with a formal dining area for 10. The guest arrangement includes an on-deck master suite and four lower-deck staterooms, while exterior spaces include the aft deck, bridge-deck dining area, skylounge and a sundeck with Jacuzzi, bar and large sunpad.
The swim-platform beach-club area supports tender and water-toy operations. The brokerage inventory lists an 18-foot Novurania with 115 hp Yamaha, a 15-foot Novurania with 40 hp Yamaha, two Sea-Doos, a waterslide and additional water toys.
A major 2012 refit included replacement of the main engines with MTU units and installation of new teak decking. In 2017 the yacht received new exterior cushions, air-conditioning work and duct cleaning, new guest mattresses, a waterslide, two sea scooters and a reported $200,000 audiovisual upgrade based around a new Crestron control system, televisions and upgraded sound system.
Work in 2018 included new carpet and additional interior and exterior speakers. The 2023 technical programme included installation of NAIAD zero-speed stabilisation together with replacement of main-engine injectors, limiting valves and fuel lines using factory OEM components.
The underlying Northrop & Johnson yacht listing captured for this update still displays an asking price of $8.9 million. A later official Northrop & Johnson price-reduction announcement dated 24 August 2026 reduces the current asking price by $1 million to $7.9 million, so the later release is treated as authoritative for the yacht's current brokerage asking price.
