MY Loyalty - 2016
Joyeux, elegant and modern, My Loyalty is the third yacht in the award-winning 50m series with exterior lines by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Her exterior lines combine sleek minimalism with advanced technology. Maintaining the Heesen family look and feel with its iconic reverse sheer 'pelican beak' bow, continuous sheets of laminated triple glazing glass thermo-bonded to the superstructure on the main deck create a dynamic wall of seamless windows that complement the yacht's flowing lines. On the sundeck, oversized wings match the arch and show matching lines. This arch is the trade mark for Heesen's 50-metre range.
Omega Architects expertly penned a unique low-profile, sporty, and elegant yacht that looks agile while preserving a classic and sleek appearance. Our in-house naval architects worked closely with Dutch hydrodynamicist van Oossanen to create an efficient hard-chine hull. When combined with Heesen's acknowledged weight reduction expertise and a pair of high power-to-weight ratio MTU 2,720kW engines, My Loyalty delivers her excellent top speed as well as a very economical fuel burn and an exceptionally long range of 3.200nm at 12 knots. Her shark grey livery lends My Loyalty's aluminium hull a bold and assertive presence on the water.
My Loyalty is not just about speed; she is also about space, both inside and on deck. The owner appointed Dutch designer Marcel Wolterinck to create a relaxed and chic atmosphere. Space has been optimised throughout, and My Loyalty has the highest possible internal volume under the 500GT threshold. Twelve guests sleep in six staterooms. The master suite is located on the main deck, while the remaining guest cabins are on the lower deck and include a full-beam VIP, two twins (that can transform into doubles) and two doubles, all with ensuite bathrooms.
