MY Reliance - 2023
The shark grey hull – a choice of the owners to imbue their yacht with a strong character – perfectly matches the muscular exterior by Frank Laupman and echoes the distinctive 'shark tooth' in the overhang of the superstructure – a signature design feature that embellishes the profile and makes the Heesen 55-metre Steel design recognisable from far. MY Reliance marks the debut of Heesen's collaboration with Luca Dini Design and Architecture.
At 55 metres with an enclosed volume of 760 GT, Reliacen offers proven efficiency combined with sophisticated style and the renowned FDHF hull form to ensure performance, power and supreme comfort in all sea conditions. Thanks to two MTU 8V 4000 M63 IMO Tier-III diesel engines combined with her ultra-efficient Fast Displacement steel hull, Reliance reaches a top speed of 15.5 knots and have a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
Designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, the interior features a geometric linear design with warm Tay wood, natural stone, and marine leather elements, creating a Zen atmosphere. The yacht accommodates twelve guests in six staterooms, including an 83-square-meter Owner's apartment. The main saloon impresses with bronze-mirrored ceiling panels and a spacious layout, while the full-beam sky lounge offers panoramic views. Amenities include walk-in wardrobes, a freestanding black bathtub, and a wellness area in the beach club for ultimate relaxation.
