A racing simulator is often a collection of components arranged around a seat. Aston Martin and Curv Racing Simulators have treated the AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition as one complete design object, with its cockpit inspired by the Valkyrie programme.
Only 24 hand-built examples are planned, with an announced price of £58,750 before tax. Two liveries draw on the #007 and #009 race cars, giving the model a link to the manufacturer’s competition activity.
A carbon-fibre cockpit
The design uses a sculpted carbon-fibre monocoque, bringing the seat, display and controls into one continuous structure. Aston Martin test driver Darren Turner contributed to the driving position and steering relationship.
That ergonomics work matters more than surface styling alone. A simulator becomes immersive when the body, wheel and sight line work together through repeated sessions.
Technology within the form
A 49-inch curved display and NVIDIA RTX graphics supply the visual environment. The dedicated Valkyrie-style wheel includes personalisable details without losing the race-inspired appearance.
The integrated architecture avoids the look of a conventional gaming desk. Owners should nevertheless consider delivery access, floor space, software updates and technical support before installing one in a private home.
A new collector category
The model bridges gaming, motorsport and automotive design. It is not a substitute for real track experience, but can offer a different way to engage with a favourite racing programme.
