Bentley’s Virtuoso Collection brings its flagship Naim for Mulliner audio technology into Continental GT, GTC and Bentayga with three curated themes.
Batur audio technology reaches more Bentley models
Bentley has created the Virtuoso Collection around Naim for Mulliner, an audio system originally developed for the coachbuilt Batur. The system is now being offered through a limited collection across Continental GT, GTC and Bentayga, with Flying Spur to follow.
Eighteen speakers and additional specialist drivers are supported by Dolby Atmos and Fraunhofer Symphoria processing. Bentley says the combination is tuned individually to the acoustic characteristics of each cabin.
Materials are selected partly for sound
The project goes beyond adding more powerful hardware because interior fabrics, speaker grilles and surface treatments affect reflection and absorption. Mulliner has therefore used materials that support the acoustic brief while still meeting luxury expectations.
Three themes named Soprano, Tenor and Bass pair different hides, textiles and veneers with Champagne Gold details. The naming connects the visual specification directly with the collection’s musical purpose.
High-end audio is becoming part of personal commissioning
Owners increasingly treat sound systems as a core part of a luxury interior rather than an invisible technical option. The rise of immersive music formats makes the cabin a more deliberate listening space during long-distance travel.
For yacht owners accustomed to carefully tuned saloons and cinema rooms, the approach is familiar. Virtuoso translates that expectation into a much smaller cabin where engineering and material choice have to work even more closely together.
