British Pullman Carries Zenith, Moynat and Guerlain Collectors to Goodwood

A beautifully restored railway carriage can be as compelling as the destination at the end of the line. Zenith, Moynat, Samaritaine and Guerlain brought around 60 guests together under The Art of Collecting, travelling to Goodwood Revival aboard Belmond's British Pullman.

The train sets the tone

The Pullman's restored 1920s and 1930s Art Deco interiors offered a setting consistent with the day's focus on heritage and exceptional objects. Vintage train-ticket invitations and a specially prepared lookbook carried the theme into the smallest details.

Four crafts share a conversation

Watchmaking, trunkmaking, perfumery and the culture of a historic department store have different materials and techniques, yet each relies on stories preserved through objects. Bringing the houses together creates a view of collecting that extends beyond a single product category.

Goodwood as more than a car event

The journey linked a luxury rail experience with a gathering known for celebrating historic motorsport and period style. For collectors, it illustrates how travel, craft and automotive heritage can be combined into a coherent day rather than enjoyed as unrelated appointments.
