Bvlgari Eclettica Unveils 128 High Jewelry Designs

Bvlgari’s Eclettica collection brings together 128 new High Jewelry designs, nine Capolavori and an unprecedented number of transformable creations.

Bvlgari has unveiled Eclettica, a new High Jewelry collection that treats eclecticism as a creative method and brings jewellery into dialogue with architecture, sculpture and painting. The collection comprises 128 new High Jewelry designs alongside a selection of exceptional watch creations.

128 designs and nine Capolavori

At the centre of Eclettica are nine Capolavori, which Bvlgari presents as High Jewelry masterpieces combining exceptional gemstones with sculptural volumes and unexpected chromatic harmonies. LVMH says the wider collection demonstrates the maison’s craftsmanship and its approach to creative experimentation.

The scale of the collection allows Bvlgari to explore those ideas across a broad range of pieces rather than through a single visual formula. Colour, volume and precious materials are used as recurring elements within a deliberately eclectic creative language.

Transformability becomes a defining idea

Eclettica also places particular emphasis on transformability, a feature that LVMH describes as one of Bvlgari’s defining signatures. The collection includes an unprecedented number of transformable creations intended to give the wearer greater stylistic freedom.

That approach makes adaptability part of the design concept itself rather than an isolated technical feature. A jewel can change configuration while remaining recognisably part of the same creative identity, extending the ways in which an individual piece can be worn.

Jewellery meets architecture, sculpture and painting

Bvlgari describes Eclettica through a dialogue between jewellery and three other artistic disciplines: architecture, sculpture and painting. Those references provide a framework for exploring proportion, three-dimensional form and colour without reducing the collection to a single stylistic influence.

LVMH uses the term “artsmanship” to describe this meeting of artistic expression and jewellery-making skill. The emphasis is on craftsmanship operating alongside creative freedom, with exceptional gems, sculptural form and chromatic contrast brought together as equally important parts of the design.

Eclettica expands beyond conventional jewellery

The collection also extends into High Jewelry bags, high-end watches and very high-end fragrances. LVMH presents these additions as part of a broader artistic universe in which different luxury disciplines share the same emphasis on craft and creative experimentation.

Bvlgari Group CEO Jean-Christophe Babin links that eclectic identity to Rome, where different centuries of art coexist and continually influence one another. For Superyacht Lifestyle, Eclettica is therefore as much about the creative environment surrounding exceptional jewellery as it is about the individual objects themselves.
