Chaumet Turns Tea, Spices and Flowers into 46 High Jewellery Creations

A garden does not need to appear literally in jewellery for nature to influence its design. Chaumet's A Journey through Nature collection uses the memories and sensations of botanical ingredients to shape 46 high-jewellery creations across three thematic chapters.

Scents translated into gemstones

Tea, verbena, mint, vanilla, star anise, cinnamon, coffee, pepper and saffron are among the references, with stones and forms conveying their character. The house uses openwork, movement and optical effects to suggest impressions rather than recreating botanical specimens exactly.

The bee returns in miniature

Twenty-five new brooches revisit the maison's longstanding bee emblem, allowing coloured gemstones to provide focal points around the insect motif. These pieces give the collection a more playful scale alongside the larger sets.

A naturalist tradition continues

Chaumet traces its interest in nature back to founder Marie-Étienne Nitot and the idea of the naturalist jeweller. This collection develops that inheritance through abstraction and sensory association, offering collectors a coherent story across distinct designs.
