Flexjet has taken delivery of the first next-generation Praetor 600E, featuring Embraer's 42-inch 4K Smart Window and enhanced cabin technology.
Flexjet has become fleet launch customer for Embraer's next-generation Praetor 600E, taking delivery of the first aircraft under the companies' expanded relationship. The handover gives the super-midsize jet its first operational home just months after triple certification by ANAC, the FAA and EASA.
The cabin becomes a working environment
The most visible new feature is Embraer's Smart Window, a 42-inch 4K OLED display integrated into the cabin environment. It can handle video conferencing and high-resolution streaming while also showing live views from three externally mounted cameras, blending connectivity with the theatre of flight.
A $7 billion partnership sits behind the delivery
Flexjet's Praetor 600E is part of the wider agreement announced in February 2025, valued at up to $7 billion. That package includes firm orders for 182 aircraft, options for another 30 and an expanded services and support relationship, making the delivery more significant than a one-aircraft product launch.
Praetor 600E enters service quickly
Embraer unveiled the Praetor 600E and 500E in February 2026, with the 600E receiving certification in April. The speed from unveiling to entry into service matters because buyers in the private-aviation market increasingly judge cabin technology and connectivity with the same intensity as range and runway performance.
