FAITH Turns a Nine-Metre Glass Pool Into the Ceiling of Life at Sea Level

The 96.55-metre Feadship FAITH is remembered for one feature that changes the atmosphere of two decks at once: a nine-metre swimming pool whose glass bottom forms the ceiling of the beach club below. The result is less a single amenity than a piece of architecture that constantly connects water, light and life aboard.

The pool is more than an upper-deck amenity

Feadship describes FAITH's swimming pool as a 42,000-litre structure built from five layers of clear glass and foil, with a deep end that descends to 2.5 metres. The dimensions alone are impressive, but the experience comes from how the pool interacts with the spaces around it.

Guests using the pool are not isolated from the rest of the yacht. Light, movement and the shifting colour of the water become visible from the beach club beneath, so swimming on one deck creates a constantly changing ceiling for another social space.

The beach club sits directly at sea level

Below the pool, a full-beam beach club opens toward the water and is extended by three fold-down balconies. This brings guests physically closer to the sea while preserving the scale and privacy of a 96-metre yacht.

The combination encourages a different rhythm from formal interior entertaining. People can move between swimming, lounging, boarding tenders and simply watching the water without travelling through several decks or changing the atmosphere of the day.

A helipad and games deck add another layer of activity

FAITH also carries a helicopter landing area and a hangar for a Bell 429 WLG helicopter, together with a games deck forward. These facilities expand the yacht's private world beyond the water and allow different generations or groups to use the yacht in different ways.

The appeal is not that every feature must be used at the same time. The value lies in choice: an active morning, a quiet afternoon by the beach club, or an arrival by helicopter can all happen without forcing the entire guest group into one shared programme.
