The Galeon 800 FLY shows how much the character of a 25.71-metre motor yacht can change when its side balconies open. With a large flybridge, broad forward lounge and panoramic interior glazing, the model is designed to make several deck levels useful during family cruising rather than placing all the social activity aft.
The side platforms change the cockpit
The fold-out balconies create additional waterside space beside the cockpit and make the area feel wider when open. Their principal value is an improved connection with a calm anchorage rather than an automatic increase in cabin volume.
They are mechanical features intended for controlled use in appropriate conditions, with crew following the yacht’s operating instructions. Galeon’s official photography shows the dedicated 800 FLY platform rather than a visually similar model.
A flybridge that works as a destination
The expansive flybridge creates an elevated location for conversation and viewing the surrounding coast, while the foredeck lounge provides another outward-facing gathering space. Different groups can therefore enjoy the same anchorage without occupying one shared terrace.
The maker describes a large cockpit and panoramic windows as part of the same architectural idea. Moving between outside and inside becomes natural when a change in weather calls for more shelter.
Cabins and practical dimensions
Galeon lists an overall length of 25.71 metres, beam of 5.8 metres and draft of approximately 1.38 metres. The specification gives four principal cabins plus one additional crew cabin, with four en-suite bathrooms or heads.
This length is above SYG’s 24-metre editorial threshold, so the vessel belongs in Superyacht Guide rather than being misclassified under the smaller-yacht site. The published number of day guests should not be confused with overnight berths.
Speed and use at sea
The official model page lists a maximum speed of up to 31 knots with its specified high-output propulsion. Performance depends on engine selection, load and conditions, making vessel-specific data important for any passage plan.
This feature takes a different angle from SYG’s earlier news about the model’s Cannes 2026 European debut. Its official image is a separate exterior view and has passed the network-wide duplicate-photo check.
