Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is expected to open in December with an all-inclusive format in Puerto Cancun.
Grand Hyatt moves into Cancun
Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is expected to open in December as the brand’s first property in Cancun. The 500-room resort will use a fully all-inclusive format while retaining the larger-scale service and meeting capability associated with Grand Hyatt.
The property sits inside Puerto Cancun, a gated waterfront development with marina access, beaches, golf, shopping and dining. Its location gives guests a more mixed-use setting than a self-contained resort isolated from the surrounding destination.
Rooms connect to sea and marina views
The resort will include 47 suites and every guestroom is planned with a private terrace facing either the ocean or marina. Selected suites will add private pools, while Grand Club rooms receive access to a separate lounge and additional service.
Design references local landscape and culture through materials and commissioned art. The objective is to make the hotel feel specific to Cancun rather than simply inserting an international resort template beside the beach.
Food and wellness become part of the all-inclusive proposition
Fourteen food and beverage outlets are planned, ranging from sushi and omakase to Italian, French and South American concepts. That breadth is intended to make the all-inclusive model feel less repetitive during longer stays.
For yacht owners using the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, Puerto Cancun can work as a convenient land-based stop. Marina access and proximity to the airport make the resort especially relevant to guests moving between private travel modes.
