Kenzo has introduced L'Eau Ambrée, a warmer interpretation of L'Eau Kenzo made in France with 90% natural-origin ingredients and a recycled-glass bottle.
Kenzo is taking its established L'Eau fragrance in a different direction with L'Eau Ambrée, a composition inspired by the last warmth of sunlight on the ocean. The release combines a change in scent character with production and sourcing decisions that Kenzo has made part of the story of the fragrance.
From marine freshness to sunset warmth
The new interpretation aims for a more sensual, enveloping identity while retaining a link to the aquatic inspiration of L'Eau Kenzo. The image of sea and evening light gives the perfume a clear setting beyond the usual list of fragrance notes.
The formulation and bottle
Kenzo says the fragrance is made entirely in France and contains 90% natural-origin ingredients, with ylang-ylang extract produced through water-based extraction without solvents. The bottle incorporates 15% recycled glass, while its outer packaging uses responsibly sourced paper.
Conservation becomes part of the launch
The brand connects the product to its wider concern for marine environments and more considered sourcing. That doesn't remove the need to scrutinise environmental claims, but it makes the materials and manufacture part of what shoppers can compare alongside the scent itself.
