Maiora’s new M|38 offers a pool that closes into a walk-on deck, expansive glass walls and a main saloon designed for flexible guest use.
The Maiora M|38 makes its pool work as more than a place to swim. The 37-metre flagship of the new M Collection combines a retractable walk-on cover with folding stern bulwarks, so the after main deck can become a larger sea-facing terrace when the pool is not in use.
The pool changes the whole stern
Maiora’s official September unveiling describes a pool with a flush-fitting retractable walking surface. Closing it gives guests more usable deck, while the folding bulwarks extend the sense of space towards the sea in suitable anchorage conditions.
The configuration supports several uses across the day without requiring a permanent split between swimming and entertaining areas. Pool conversion and the opening of structural bulwarks remain crew-controlled operations subject to the yacht’s procedures.
Glass joins lounge and cockpit
Electrically operated smoked-glass sliding doors and expansive side glazing link the saloon with the cockpit and beach area. The main-deck architecture is designed as one continuous environment instead of treating an interior lounge and outdoor terrace as unrelated rooms.
Maiora specifies a main saloon of approximately 51 square metres with ceiling heights between 2.25 and 2.35 metres. That sense of vertical and horizontal space matters to people spending extended periods aboard, especially in changing weather.
A private arrangement for longer stays
The published plan offers accommodation for up to twelve guests in five cabins, with one owner’s suite and four guest rooms. Crew accommodation is described for five and can be configured for up to seven depending on the final specification.
The builder also integrates engine-room access into a corridor to keep the cockpit unobstructed. That practical detail supports circulation and service without placing every technical movement through the principal social deck.
Designed to remain personal
Quartostile developed the exterior with Maiora’s Style Office and ACUBE Designer involved in the interior. The materials and layout are intended to give the owner flexibility, including a dining area with a Nero Belvedere marble table.
The yacht was unveiled in September 2026; this article examines the design instead of inventing a later delivery or sea-trial announcement. The distinct hero is the official M|38 model image and does not purport to document a private guest event.
