MINI’s new lifestyle collection carries familiar brand colours into clothing, luggage, bags, children’s products and travel accessories for the 2026 season.
MINI is extending its design language beyond the car with a 2026 Lifestyle Collection built around apparel, luggage, everyday accessories and children’s products. The range uses colours including Rebel Red, Ocean Wave Green, Smokey Green, black and white, translating the visual identity of the current MINI family into objects intended for travel and daily use.
The range treats travel as part of the brand
Bags extend from small crossbody designs and shoppers to roll-top backpacks, laptop bags, duffles and wheeled luggage. That breadth allows MINI to appear in the journey even when the owner is travelling by aircraft, train or yacht rather than driving.
For lifestyle brands, luggage is particularly useful because it connects design with movement. A recognisable colour or material can carry identity without needing a large logo, making the product more likely to survive beyond a single fashion season.
Accessories keep the visual language deliberately simple
The wider collection includes notebooks, bottles, travel mugs, umbrellas and sunglasses alongside clothing. These are ordinary objects, but consistency of colour and proportion gives them the kind of coherence usually associated with a more tightly controlled design collection.
The challenge is avoiding novelty merchandise. Products need to function well enough that owners choose them independently of the badge, because brand loyalty alone rarely compensates for poor luggage, uncomfortable clothing or accessories that feel disposable.
Children’s products keep the motoring connection direct
MINI continues with its Baby Racer, aluminium balance bike, scale models and children’s clothing. These pieces make the automotive reference much clearer, introducing younger family members to the brand through play rather than through a full-size car.
For multi-generational households, this kind of product can carry sentimental value beyond its price. A small model or balance bike can become associated with family travel and shared enthusiasm in a way that conventional promotional goods seldom achieve.
Colour becomes the link between car and wardrobe
Rebel Red and Ocean Wave Green allow the lifestyle range to echo colours associated with MINI’s current visual identity, while black and white offer quieter choices. The result gives owners the option of obvious coordination or simply selecting individual pieces they like.
The best automotive lifestyle collections avoid dressing clients as walking advertisements. They borrow enough from the car to feel connected, then allow material, utility and proportion to do most of the work once the product leaves the showroom.
