A decade on Central Vietnam's coast
Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Hoi An is preparing to mark ten years under the brand in December 2026. Its 23 September announcement describes a programme of renewed accommodation, coastal dining and experiences rooted in the region, rather than a completely new hotel opening.
The resort occupies 86 acres of gardens, lotus lagoons and pathways leading towards Ha My Beach. It has retained a Vietnamese architectural language while adapting individual villas and public spaces for new guest requirements.
The villa changes keep the original idea
Renovated one-bedroom and family villas preserve the timber roofs, raised sleeping platforms and garden-house inspiration associated with the original design. New colours, materials and bay-window space accompany the changes, while Signature Three-Bedroom Pool Villas add a more residential arrangement for groups.
Their private gardens and enhanced pools create room for families to gather away from the larger resort. Actual villa configurations and accessibility should be checked against the individual booking rather than assumed from a general design description.
A food programme connected to place
Lá Sen is developing a menu inspired by Central Vietnam's coast, fields and traditional dishes, with produce drawn in part from the resort's garden. NAYUU offers an omakase counter under chef Alex Moranda, while beachfront Sol & Sao moves from morning coffee to Vietnamese tapas and evening drinks.
The cooking academy adds a chance to learn local recipes instead of only eating them at a restaurant. Each venue has its own reservation and menu arrangements, which should be confirmed separately.
A dated anniversary offer
For qualifying stays of at least three nights from 20 November to 20 December 2026, the resort has announced breakfast for two plus a choice of two experiences. Options include a guided architectural visit to Hoi An, floating meditation, a cooking lesson or anniversary dining.
This is a limited offer with conditions, not a permanent inclusion across all room rates. The published photograph depicts the exact resort, and the anniversary release is distinct from its separate festive-holiday programme.
