North Sails has launched its Ferrari Hypersail Replica Collection, turning offshore racing requirements into technical jackets and everyday sailing apparel.

North Sails launched the Ferrari Hypersail Replica Collection on 22 September 2026, extending its technical partnership with the Italian offshore sailing project into garments intended for life beyond professional racing. The new line draws on the design principles of a developing 100-foot fully foiling monohull and gives enthusiasts an accessible expression of the project's distinctive colours and materials.
The collection is separate from the full technical kit supplied to the crew. Ferrari Hypersail is expected to begin sailing and trials in early 2027, so the apparel launch is a current product development rather than evidence of completed ocean-racing performance.
The jacket at the technical end
The GP Aero Jacket 2.0 uses three-layer construction, a breathable 10K waterproof membrane and four-way stretch, according to North Sails' own collection presentation. Bonded, streamlined construction and a restrained silhouette aim to reduce excess bulk without abandoning protection from weather.
Those features respond to problems familiar to crews working between a sheltered cockpit and an exposed deck. A stated waterproof rating is a specification of the fabric system, not a guarantee of protection in every storm or a substitute for the correct offshore safety gear.
Two other ways to wear the collaboration
The Sailor Jacket reinterprets the brand's traditional design in recycled fabric, with waterproof zips, taped seams and storage features. The Nautex Softshell takes a lighter approach, combining wind resistance, water repellency and a detachable storm hood for changeable conditions.
North Sails also offers pieces such as polos, caps, deck shorts and bags within the wider Replica Collection. Technical details vary by garment, so buyers should review each product's own materials and care information instead of assuming every piece shares the flagship jacket's membrane.
A link between design and the sailing programme
The partnership involves North Sails in the yacht's sail development and crew equipment, while the apparel translates the visual language into clothing for travelling, coastal outings and ordinary city use.
