Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport Brings Alpine Colour to 100-Car Edition

Porsche has created a 100-car 911 GT3 Bergsport edition for Alpine-region customers, pairing a manual gearbox with bespoke colours and lightweight details.

Porsche has turned Alpine driving culture into a tightly limited collector car with the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a 100-car market edition for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. Created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the model combines the GT3’s naturally aspirated character with a specification shaped as much by mountain roads and regional identity as by outright circuit performance.

Valleygreenmetallic sets the tone

The most obvious change is the new Paint to Sample Plus colour Valleygreenmetallic, developed to echo deep Alpine greens and earthy mountain tones. Gold metallic particles add warmth in direct sunlight, giving the car a richer surface treatment than a conventional catalogue colour while keeping the overall appearance restrained.

The cabin follows the same approach, with a bespoke palette and details intended to feel specific to the edition rather than merely decorative. Porsche has used colour and material to create a sense of place, making the car feel connected to the roads for which it was conceived.

Manual gearbox, light weight and mountain focus

The Bergsport uses a six-speed manual transmission and a Lightweight Package, with aluminium wheels chosen in place of the magnesium items normally included in that package. The resulting specification is designed around precision, feedback and usability on fast Alpine roads rather than a pursuit of the most extreme lap-time configuration.

That makes the car particularly relevant to collectors who actually drive their limited editions, because the appeal lies in combining rarity with a very specific type of road experience. It is less about displaying scarcity in a garage and more about giving the owner a reason to seek out the roads that inspired it.

A limited edition with regional identity

Porsche presented the car at Arosa ClassicCar, an event whose steep, technical course gives the project an appropriate backdrop. Limiting the edition to 100 cars and four countries gives it the kind of geographic identity more commonly associated with special commissions and private-client programmes.

For SYG Lifestyle, the Bergsport is a useful counterpoint to one-off hypercars because it shows another route to exclusivity. Here, the luxury lies in a tightly defined specification, a strong sense of place and the knowledge that only a small regional group will ever own one.
