Punta Mita Reimagines Caviar with Pan-Asian and Mexican Tasting Rituals

Four Seasons Punta Mita has introduced two Petrossian Royal Daurenki caviar experiences, pairing Aramara's Pan-Asian tasting with a Mexican afternoon service.

Caviar has traditionally arrived with a rigid set of accompaniments and rules, but a Mexican Pacific resort is offering two different interpretations. Four Seasons Punta Mita has introduced a four-course tasting at Aramara and a more relaxed La Hora del Caviar, both built around Petrossian Royal Daurenki.

Precision at Aramara

The restaurant uses a Pan-Asian approach, with Japanese technique and flavours such as citrus and umami changing how the caviar is perceived from course to course. The tasting is intended as a composed culinary experience rather than simply a tin served alongside conventional garnishes.

Mexico shapes the afternoon service

La Hora del Caviar takes the same ingredient in another direction, introducing elements including blue corn, huitlacoche, Tajín and molcajete salsa. That connection to local ingredients makes the resort's coastal setting relevant to the food instead of reducing it to scenery.

A different reason to visit the Riviera Nayarit

The two offers give guests a choice between structured restaurant dining and a more convivial afternoon ritual. Travellers visiting the region by yacht can incorporate the experiences into a shore itinerary, while prices and reservations should be confirmed directly with the resort.
