Raffles Jeddah adds 182 sea-facing rooms and suites, Hejazi-inspired interiors and branded residences to the city’s Red Sea Corniche.
Jeddah is a city shaped by the sea, and its new Raffles address gives the water a prominent role in every room. The hotel occupies a Corniche setting with 142 guest rooms and 40 suites oriented toward the Red Sea.
The opening provides another place to stay for travellers combining Saudi Arabia’s coastal destinations with urban time. It is a hotel announcement, not a claim about any new yacht berth at the property.
Old Jeddah in contemporary form
Interior designers have drawn from the latticework and mashrabiya traditions associated with the Hejaz. Carved patterns and contemporary materials appear together rather than attempting to reconstruct a historic building.
A collection of Saudi and regional art also contributes to the sense of place. Such references are most compelling when they reward time in the public spaces as well as a quick arrival photograph.
Views and personal service
The full inventory comprises 182 rooms and suites, all described by the operator as facing the sea. Raffles’ butler-service approach forms part of the guest experience.
Room dimensions and exact views still vary by category. Families booking multiple rooms should verify the configuration and connecting arrangements rather than relying on an all-sea-view headline.
A city stop during a coastal journey
The hotel includes food, wellness and residential components, widening its appeal beyond a short business visit. Its Corniche location helps bring the city’s maritime setting into the daily rhythm of a stay.
Yacht guests will need to plan transfers, clearance and berthing separately. Raffles supplies a new land-based address alongside a Red Sea itinerary, not marine services it has not announced.
