Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Brisbane has unveiled Noosa Collection Series #1, a Ghost Extended commissioned to reflect the journey from Brisbane to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The car debuted at the 2026 Noosa Concours d’Élégance, where it led the procession along Hastings Street.
A coastal palette shapes the commission
The exterior combines Silver and Midnight Sapphire with a Grace White coachline, referencing the ocean, sky and pale shoreline around Noosa. The treatment avoids obvious graphics and instead uses colour to connect a large luxury saloon with a destination known for understated coastal living.
That subtlety suits the audience for a Ghost Extended. For collectors who spend time between city residences, resorts and yachts, the most successful destination-inspired commissions often suggest a place rather than illustrating it literally.
The rear cabin is built around seclusion
The rear compartment includes Serenity Seats, a theatre configuration, massage seating and picnic tables. Rolls-Royce selected Ghost Extended to give the commission a calm, private character that can shift easily between long coastal drives and metropolitan use.
The format reflects how ultra-luxury cars are increasingly commissioned as mobile private rooms. Comfort, acoustic isolation and the quality of time spent in the rear cabin can matter as much as outright performance.
Noosa Concours becomes part of the story
The car made its debut during the Noosa Concours d’Élégance, an event that brought more than 100 rare and historically significant vehicles to Hastings Street. Fine dining, fashion and other luxury experiences were also part of the programme along the foreshore.
Using a concours as the launch setting places the commission directly in a collector environment. It gives the new car context alongside historic machinery rather than presenting it only within a showroom.
A second Noosa commission is already planned
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Brisbane says the strong response to Series #1 has led to plans for a second Noosa Collection commission. That turns the idea from an isolated dealer special into an ongoing sequence tied to the character of the Sunshine Coast.
For collectors, a continuing series can create provenance beyond the specification of one car. Each commission becomes part of a local narrative that may grow more interesting as the group develops.
