Rolls-Royce has introduced Spectre Series II with engineering changes that extend the electric super-coupé’s official range and a wider palette of Bespoke possibilities. The update keeps the car’s quiet grand-touring character while addressing the practical range and charging questions that matter on long luxury itineraries.

Range rises by up to 18 percent

Rolls-Royce says engineering revisions increase range by as much as 18 percent, taking Spectre Series II to a maximum of 390 miles or 628 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. Charging times are also reduced by up to 14 percent, improving the car’s usefulness for owners who regularly travel beyond city centres.

Official range figures remain dependent on specification, weather and driving conditions in real use. Even so, the improvement meaningfully widens the radius in which an electric Rolls-Royce can operate without making charging the dominant part of the journey.

Torque and power also move upward

Spectre Series II delivers 1,015 Nm of torque, with up to 1,100 Nm available in Spirited Mode on the Black Badge version. Rolls-Royce also describes Black Badge Spectre Series II as its most powerful production motor car, with 500 kW available through Infinity Mode.

The figures matter, but the brand continues to frame performance around effortlessness rather than aggression. That distinction is important for clients who expect immense reserves of power without sacrificing the calm character associated with a Rolls-Royce.

The cabin becomes a broader bespoke canvas

New interior possibilities include Duality Twill and Placed Perforation, giving clients more ways to work with texture and pattern across large cabin surfaces. A redesigned clock takes inspiration from aviation instruments and sits within a dedicated vitrine-like cabinet.

Rolls-Royce says Spectre has become one of its most compelling platforms for Bespoke work. The Series II changes therefore treat personalisation as a core product development area rather than an accessory added after the engineering is complete.

Electric luxury is moving beyond novelty

Spectre’s importance is that it now sits within the normal commissioning culture of the marque rather than being treated as an experimental electric offshoot. Clients can approach it with the same expectations for materials, colour and individual narrative that apply to Phantom, Ghost and Cullinan.

For yacht owners already accustomed to electrification in tenders, shore power and onboard systems, that maturation is notable. The next phase of electric ultra-luxury will be judged less on novelty and more on whether the ownership experience feels completely resolved.
