Rosewood AMAALA has opened on Saudi Arabia's northwestern Red Sea coast, adding another high-end hospitality anchor to a destination being built around wellness, diving and yachting. The resort occupies 40 hectares at Triple Bay and consists entirely of pool villas, so the accommodation model starts with private outdoor space rather than conventional hotel rooms.
All 110 accommodations are pool villas
The resort has 110 pool villas designed by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with interiors by Tristan Auer. That low-rise format spreads guests across the site and makes privacy, terraces and water views central to the stay rather than upgrades reserved for the highest room categories.
Eight restaurants and lounges support longer stays
Rosewood has opened eight restaurants and lounges across the property, combining Saudi influences with international dining rather than relying on one formal restaurant and a pool bar. The wider programme is intended to make the resort work for multi-day stays in which guests may spend much of their time within Triple Bay rather than commuting to outside attractions.
Asaya puts wellness at the centre of the destination
The Asaya wellness concept forms a major part of the resort, reflecting AMAALA's broader positioning as a health and wellbeing destination. Rosewood's opening offer currently includes daily breakfast, a daily USD 100 wellness credit and an upgrade subject to availability, which gives the launch period a practical reason for early guests to test the facilities.
