Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is presenting an autumn programme built around the landscape and cultural history of Northern New Mexico. The 23 September 2026 announcement brings guided outings, gallery visits and seasonal wellness experiences to the 57-acre property in the Sangre de Cristo foothills.
For travellers who enjoy pairing a yacht holiday with a substantial land itinerary, Santa Fe offers a different setting from coastal resorts. The programme is based inland and does not imply that the hotel is a boating destination.
A centenary journey along the Mother Road
New for autumn is the three-hour Mother Road Journey marking a century of Route 66. Rather than restricting the experience to modern motoring nostalgia, the resort says its guide connects the original pre-1937 alignment with older trading routes, El Camino Real and the Santa Fe Trail.
The Adventure Center also offers daily guided walking on the Camino Encantado trail and custom outings farther into the Jemez Mountains. Guests can ask about a full-day trip with a picnic prepared by executive chef Gregory Joseph, subject to the resort's schedule and local conditions.
Gallery access and regional makers
The property's Art Concierge service, led by Mike McKosky, can organise private showings and introductions to artists according to a guest's interests and budget. Such visits offer a way to learn about Santa Fe's galleries rather than treating a single souvenir stop as an introduction to the city's visual culture.
