Sea Fu Opens Dubai’s New Beachfront Dining Season with Japanese Seafood

Sea Fu at Four Seasons Resort Dubai welcomes a new season of Asian-inspired seafood, sushi and sashimi with additions to its culinary team.

Dubai’s beachfront dining season begins again as Sea Fu welcomes guests to its terrace at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. The restaurant’s September menu update puts fish, carefully chosen ingredients and Asian techniques at the centre of a lunch or early evening meal beside the Arabian Gulf.

The renewed offering is not a reinvention of the address. Sea Fu has built its identity around seafood and dining close to the sand, and the new dishes give regular guests another reason to return as the weather becomes more comfortable.

Japanese seafood with a different accent

The menu includes a seven-piece nigiri selection, with toppings matched to each piece of fish. Grilled Japanese madai is paired with sea fennel and sauce vierge, while homemade furikake brings a signature note to the restaurant’s version of yaki soba.

Sushi, sashimi, steamed dim sum and wok dishes remain part of the broader offering, alongside seafood prepared on the grill. The attraction is variety without losing the central focus on fish and the coastal setting.

New experience in the kitchen

Junior Sous Chef Okta Haryanto joins from Four Seasons Vietnam, where he worked at the omakase restaurant Nayuu. His background adds another Japanese culinary perspective to a team led by Chef de Cuisine Marcel Finsterer-Graf von Bassewitz.

The restaurant also highlights Tasmanian salmon from Huon Aquaculture in its seasonal programme. As with any menu, availability can change with supply and the day’s catch, so individual dishes should be confirmed when booking.

Lunch beside the water

Sea Fu is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the final food order at 6:30 p.m. The timing suits a long lunch or an early dinner, rather than a late-night restaurant itinerary.

For visitors arriving in Dubai by yacht, the beachfront table offers a change from dining aboard, though transport and berth arrangements remain separate. The new seasonal menu is a current reason to put this established restaurant back on a Dubai dining shortlist.
