SPARTA uses a flowing Winch Design concept to connect family spaces, a 6.5-metre infinity pool and a dedicated 65-square-metre wellness area.
SPARTA is Heesen's largest steel yacht to date, but the most interesting part of the 67-metre design is how closely it is tied to family life. Winch Design shaped the yacht around a continuous wave-like exterior, a 6.5-metre infinity pool and a 65-square-metre wellness area with sauna, steam room, gym and beauty space.
The exterior is designed as one continuous gesture
Winch Design developed SPARTA's profile around the image of a 67-metre wave, allowing the bow, superstructure and stepped aft decks to read as one connected form. The idea gives the yacht movement even when she is sitting still.
That continuity is not only visual. The main saloon opens toward the aft deck and infinity pool, helping interior and exterior spaces feel like parts of the same family environment rather than separate rooms joined by doors.
Wellness gets a proper address
The 65-square-metre wellness area includes an elliptical whirlpool, steam room, sauna, gym and beauty facilities. It is large enough to support different routines rather than treating wellness as a single treatment room hidden below deck.
For owners who train regularly, that changes the usefulness of the yacht. Exercise, recovery and personal care can remain part of everyday life even during long periods away from shore, without constantly arranging appointments in each destination.
A family yacht needs places for different generations
SPARTA was conceived as an intimate home for an ocean-loving family despite her substantial volume. The layered decks allow quiet private routines and larger social gatherings to happen at the same time without one activity dominating the entire vessel.
That separation becomes increasingly important as families travel with children, friends and staff. The yacht works best when everyone can find their own rhythm while still meeting naturally around meals, swimming and shared excursions.
Efficiency supports the long journey
SPARTA uses Heesen's Fast Displacement Hull Form and has a published transoceanic range of around 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. The engineering gives the yacht the reach required to make the family brief meaningful beyond familiar Mediterranean ports.
A private wellness retreat is far more valuable when it can travel with the owner. SPARTA combines the comforts of a highly tailored home with the range needed to carry those routines across oceans.
