BMW M and BMW Motorrad have announced six cars and three motorcycles for the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary.
A collection ahead of a centenary
BMW M and BMW Motorrad have presented nine 100 Jahre Nürburgring editions ahead of the circuit’s 2027 anniversary. The range brings together six cars and three motorcycles under one motorsport reference.
It is a coordinated commemorative programme rather than a new standalone vehicle platform. The announcement builds on BMW’s association with the historic German circuit.
Six cars carry the theme
The car group comprises the M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan and M5 Touring. Each combines the Nürburgring theme with its underlying M-model identity.
A shared edition name does not mean every car has the same powertrain or optional equipment. Buyers should consult specifications for the particular vehicle.
Three motorcycles complete the set
The motorcycle range includes the M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR. All nine editions use a historic Nürburgring Green theme, with additional model-specific details.
The result connects two different divisions of BMW without erasing the differences between cars and motorcycles. Road-use rules and protective-equipment requirements also remain distinct.
A collector’s motorsport reference
Owners interested in motoring history may follow the collection as part of the circuit’s wider anniversary. It can add another reason to plan a future German motorsport journey.
