An October Lisbon-to-Barbados crossing aboard Orient Express Corinthian will include a Guerlain wellness programme and an Azores stop.
An ocean passage with time to spare
Orient Express Sailing Yachts and Guerlain have designed Ocean Rebirth around a transatlantic voyage aboard Orient Express Corinthian. The programme is scheduled for 12–26 October 2026, linking Lisbon to Bridgetown in Barbados via Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
Long passages have their own tempo, with days at sea separating coastal departures from a Caribbean arrival. The operator is positioning that uninterrupted time as a setting for wellbeing rather than simply as transport between destinations.
Three ways to join the route
The complete programme covers fourteen nights, while the operator also offers the Lisbon-to-Azores stage from 12 to 15 October. An eleven-night option continues from Ponta Delgada to Bridgetown between 15 and 26 October.
Choosing a stage affects flight plans, port transfers and the amount of time spent offshore. Guests should confirm the final itinerary, sea-day arrangements and the exact inclusions directly before booking.
The Guerlain element
The announced programme builds on the existing spa collaboration between the sailing-yacht operator and Guerlain. Its activities are intended to create space for personal reflection and relaxation within a longer ocean journey.
Individual treatments and activities may not suit every guest, and the release is not evidence of medical outcomes. Travellers should seek provider guidance on any personal requirements before choosing a wellness package.
A different way to make a crossing
Owners accustomed to private-yacht passages may find the appeal in experiencing the ocean without taking responsibility for their own vessel and crew. The Azores call also introduces a distinctive Atlantic way point for later independent travel.
This is a hospitality itinerary, not an offer to charter a self-operated superyacht. The official Orient Express and Guerlain announcement and voyage photograph document the route and programme.
