Four Seasons and Spanish investor Blasson have announced plans for a hotel in a prominent building on Plaza Nueva in Sevilla. The proposed property has around 55 rooms and is intended to offer a more intimate urban stay.
Sevilla is an inland destination, but it can extend a luxury-yacht trip through southern Spain by adding architecture and culture beyond the coastline. Its position should not be misrepresented as a marina-side hotel.
Reworking an existing building
The plan involves revitalising a five-storey property and incorporating guest accommodation and open-air terraces. Madrid-based Lamela is identified for architecture and Belén Domecq for interior design.
That design team provides context for the announced direction, while the finished layouts and services remain subject to development. The project is a future hotel rather than an already operating Four Seasons address.
From Andalusian cruising to culture
Guests visiting ports along the southern Spanish coast may want a separate city excursion while their yacht remains berthed elsewhere. Reaching Sevilla requires its own road or rail arrangements and time in the itinerary.
Such a combined programme can offer greater variety without implying that yachts can simply berth at Plaza Nueva. Harbour selection and guest transfers remain independent decisions.

The partners have disclosed a location, approximate scale and principal design participants. They have not supplied a complete current guest-service programme or a guaranteed opening date for every facility.
