Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Completes Its First Cliffside Estate Homes

Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica Punta Cacique has delivered its first three Estate Homes and released the final 10 residences for sale.

Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica Punta Cacique has completed and delivered the first three homes in its 22-residence cliffside Estate Home collection. More than half of the properties are already sold, leaving a final release of 10 residences within the 600-acre Punta Cacique community in Guanacaste.

A cliffside residential collection takes shape

The Estate Homes overlook Playa Penca and the Gulf of Papagayo from Costa Rica’s Cacique Peninsula. Each property is designed around large indoor-outdoor living areas, ocean-facing terraces and private pools, using the landscape as a central part of the architecture rather than treating the view as an accessory.

The first three completed homes give prospective owners a real reference for the finished product after a period dominated by plans and renderings. That transition is significant in branded residences because buyers can begin judging material quality, scale and the relationship between private homes and the surrounding resort.

Four and five-bedroom homes target long stays

The residences include four- and five-bedroom layouts with chef-inspired kitchens, spa-style primary suites, private elevators and fully furnished interiors. Prices for the collection range from the mid-seven millions to $11.75 million, placing the homes firmly within the international resort-property market.

Large layouts are especially relevant for owners who expect extended family and guests rather than short couples-only visits. They also support longer seasonal stays, making the residences function more like full private homes while retaining the services and facilities associated with a luxury resort.

Ownership links directly to resort services

Residents receive access to Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique amenities, including dining venues, spa and wellness facilities, pools, beach club and fitness spaces. A 24-hour concierge and managed rental programme add the operational infrastructure that differentiates branded residences from independent villas.

Hilton Honors Diamond status is also included for owners during the period of ownership. While loyalty benefits are not the main reason to buy a multi-million-dollar residence, they reinforce the connection between private ownership and the wider Waldorf Astoria hospitality ecosystem.

Branded residences keep expanding

The Costa Rica project reflects a broader shift in high-end property, where buyers increasingly want residential privacy combined with hotel-level service and professional management. That structure can simplify ownership in a second-home market, especially when the property is occupied only part of the year.

With the first homes now delivered, the project moves from promise into operation. The remaining 10 residences will test how strongly buyers value the combination of Pacific views, large private homes and direct access to a recognised luxury-hospitality brand.
