Whistler Plans Canadian Thanksgiving with Mountain Dining and Art

Four Seasons Whistler has announced a 9–12 October Canadian Thanksgiving programme with family activities, a Sunday feast and botanical spa treatments.

An autumn weekend with a fixed date

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has announced its Canadian Thanksgiving programme for 9–12 October 2026. The four-day schedule combines seasonal dining, crafts, local art and spa experiences, offering a mountain-based alternative to an autumn coastal trip.

This is a forthcoming hotel event rather than a report that the weekend has already happened. Exact availability and access to individual experiences should be confirmed before travel.

A shared table at the centre

Braidwood Tavern plans a Sunday Thanksgiving buffet featuring turkey carving, prime rib, seasonal salads, risotto and traditional desserts. The Cabin and the lobby Harvest Table add smaller seasonal food moments across the long weekend, intended to create informal places to gather.

Menus and times may change as the date approaches, and a hotel room reservation does not automatically confirm a table at every event. Guests should obtain the current dining arrangements directly from the resort.

Activities for several generations

Hands-on activities include pumpkin decorating, making a custom steak rub, wreath-making with local materials and a maple-taffy tradition. A children's programme for ages five to twelve is also planned, alongside an artist-led Paint & Sip with Andrea Mueller for older guests.

These are separate options within the resort's timetable rather than a single mandatory itinerary. Families can choose an appropriate mix while allowing time to explore Whistler's surroundings and local businesses.

A pause in the spa

The property's seasonal spa menu includes treatments developed with Sḵwálwen Botanicals, drawing on ingredients such as wild rose, nettle and arnica. Complimentary fitness sessions are also announced for the weekend, including Pilates, stretching and yoga.

This autumn programme is separate from the spa award news already covered by Superyacht Guide. The exact property image and published schedule establish the announcement without repeating the earlier award as a new story.
