An owner's warm-water itinerary can include an exclusive island, a resort room or a longer-term coastal address. All three offer time ashore, but their responsibilities, privacy and booking horizons differ substantially.
Privacy on a Maldivian island
Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah offers seven bedrooms and a dedicated 19-metre yacht. Its boat extends the island experience but does not replace a visitor's larger yacht, so tender access and any connection between the two must be planned separately.
The entire-island proposition is different from reserving a suite in a large hotel. Guests need to confirm the scope of private staffing, transport and weather-dependent activities directly with the resort.
An established Anguilla resort
Four Seasons Anguilla has retained two Michelin Keys in the 2026 hotel selection. That recognition concerns the guest experience ashore, not an assurance that a particular anchorage or landing will suit a superyacht.
A resort infrastructure offers services that a stand-alone villa may not have. Captains should still arrange customs, shore transport and tender landing independently of hotel reservations.
Residences on a future Grace Bay calendar
Corinthia and Carolina Partners have announced a 50-suite hotel alongside serviced villas, casitas and condominiums in Grace Bay. This is development news rather than a guarantee of an immediately available winter booking.
Branded residential ownership may suit families returning to the same cruising ground over several seasons. Before purchasing, clarify the management terms, service fees, construction milestones and actual water access.
