Marina overview

Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina is operated as a municipal marina in Islamorada. The official Village information states that the facility has between 70 and 83 slips depending on vessel lengths, while its marina particulars list 83 total slips and transient availability.

Depth, utilities and fuel

The marina publishes a controlled depth of 5 feet and monitors VHF Channel 16. All slips are described as having metered electricity and water, with 30, 50 and 100-amp service listed, while sewage pump-out is available at each slip and diesel and gasoline are sold at the marina.

Facilities and shore access

Facilities include Wi-Fi, coin laundry, private marina heads and showers, a boat ramp and parking. Marina guests also have access to the adjacent Islamorada Founders Park, giving the facility useful shore-side recreation in addition to its boating services.

Large-yacht planning

The 5-foot controlled depth is a significant constraint for many superyachts even though the official marina page does not publish a general maximum yacht length. Captains should therefore confirm actual approach depth, berth dimensions, assigned slip, draft limits and current availability directly with marina operations before planning a call.
