IYC has listed the 24.66m Pershing FOR EVER for €1.6m. Built in 2008 and refitted in 2023, the yacht accommodates eight guests and is advertised with a 48-knot top speed.
IYC has added FOR EVER, a 24.66-metre Pershing motor yacht, to its international brokerage portfolio in an announcement dated 16 October 2026. The 2008-built yacht underwent a refit in 2023 and is being marketed with an asking price of €1.6 million, with IYC sales consultant Costas Dimopoulos acting as the contact for enquiries.
The listing is a newly advertised sales opportunity, not a completed transaction or a new yacht launch. Buyers comparing a fast production motor yacht with a larger displacement superyacht should consider the different demands placed on propulsion, machinery maintenance and crew during the intended cruising programme.
FOR EVER's exterior profile is associated with Ital Projects and Fulvio De Simoni, combining low, flowing lines with the broad glazing typical of Pershing's high-performance motor yacht design. Its advertised specification gives a maximum speed of 48 knots and a cruise speed of 33 knots, reflecting a very different operating concept from yachts built primarily for extended slow passages.
Those are broker-published figures, not recent independently verified sea-trial measurements for this individual vessel. Actual speed and consumption depend on load, propeller and hull condition, maintenance and weather, so an intending purchaser should request the latest technical inspection and performance records before treating them as guaranteed.
The yacht's interior includes contemporary finishes and large windows intended to bring daylight into its main social spaces. A central feature of the sales presentation is the aft deck arrangement, which opens fully toward the saloon to create a combined setting for entertaining and time at anchor.
The way an indoor and outdoor lounge connect can make a substantial difference on a yacht under 25 metres. Buyers should inspect the operation of doors and seals, the movement of guests between decks and the protection available when wind or spray makes a fully open arrangement less comfortable.
Accommodation is arranged for eight guests across four cabins, while the published inventory provides for a crew of four. That arrangement offers a private owner the option of family cruising or trips with several couples, while reserving working accommodation for crew members supporting navigation and guest service.
The nominal number of cabins does not describe their individual dimensions or suitability for every party. An onboard inspection should establish bed configurations, bathroom arrangements, access to storage and whether the layout offers the privacy expected during a multi-day voyage.
IYC states that FOR EVER benefited from a refit in 2023 and describes its current condition positively. Refurbishment can extend the useful life of a yacht and improve the atmosphere of guest accommodation, but the scope of a refit differs considerably between individual vessels and should never be inferred from a marketing summary alone.
Purchasers should request itemised invoices, contractor details and equipment schedules that identify work completed on propulsion, generators, navigational electronics, air-conditioning, coatings and the interior. A visual inspection of attractive surfaces cannot replace engineering due diligence, particularly on a yacht advertised with a high maximum speed.
The broker's specification lists a beam of 5.77 metres and a gross tonnage of 61 GT, with a glass-reinforced plastic hull and superstructure. These characteristics help buyers compare potential berths and estimate how accommodation volume and operating arrangements differ from longer steel-hulled expedition yachts.
Owners should not use length and beam as the sole basis for marina planning. Draught, manoeuvring space, power provision, lifting equipment and local rules can affect whether a destination is suitable, and a captain will also consider the safety of approaching an unfamiliar berth.
FOR EVER is advertised as VAT paid, a point that can be commercially important when evaluating an acquisition in Europe. Nevertheless, a brochure description is not a substitute for reviewing the vessel's tax documents, title, flag registration and any restrictions that apply to a particular proposed transaction.
The €1.6 million figure is the current asking price and should not be represented as the amount achieved in a sale. Total ownership expenditure can include survey and closing costs, insurance, berth rental, fuel, crew and the replacement of machinery or electronics identified during inspection.
The latest IYC announcement presents a fast, relatively compact Italian yacht with a recognisable design, an eight-guest layout and documented recent refurbishment. It may appeal to buyers prioritising social areas and shorter coastal passages rather than extended expedition autonomy.
That does not establish it as a bargain or a fit for every owner. The October milestone is the new brokerage appointment for FOR EVER, and an interested buyer's next step should be to obtain the complete specification, assess the actual maintenance records and conduct an independent inspection before deciding whether to proceed.
